Millet and Vegetable Bake Recipe 1 Cup Millet 2 Cups Water 2 Leeks 2 Stalks Celery 2 Carrots 1 & 1/2 Cups Vegetable Stock 1 TBSP Wholemeal Flour 2 TBSP Olive Oil 1 TBSP Parsley 1 TBSP Sage Wholemeal Breadcrumbs for Topping
Method Cook millet in water until tender, saute leeks, carrots and celery until tender in tbsp oil. Add the well-drained millet. Make a sauce by heating 1 tbsp of the oil and adding the flour. Cook briefly then add the vegetable stock and the herbs. Top with the breadcrumbs and bake for 25mins Gas no 6 or (200C, 400F). |
